Top 5 Consumer Finance Apps Performance in Kenya Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Kenya showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

YNAB saw an interesting trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $258 in late September. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 149 in early July, while active users slightly decreased from 331 to 281 over the quarter.

Splitwise exhibited steady weekly revenue, with a notable peak of $123 in early September. Downloads reached a high of 146 in early August, and active users remained relatively stable, closing at 313.

Monefy: Money Tracker experienced a decline in weekly revenue, with a high of $86 in late July. Downloads started strong at 167 but ended at 45, and active users decreased slightly from 260 to 222.

Spendee Budget App & Planner had fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at $119 in late July. Downloads started at 89 and dropped to 28 by the end of September, whereas active users saw a slight decline from 108 to 75.

Lastly, Wallet - Daily Budget & Profit showed consistent growth in active users, increasing from 726 to 813. Revenue peaked at $64 in early September, and downloads rose to 318 in late September.
